Ana is a 19-year-old girl who decides to go anyway, everything seems to be going well as she spends her nights in someone else's room thinking it was the most exciting thing that would happen during the trip, until things start to go wrong and she realizes that she is living inside of the nightmare that she has been warned about, meanwhile her friends are disappearing and dying. Without being able to leave that forest or know what they are facing, they decide to investigate in order to find a way of defeating what's haunting them. Will those who are alive survive? Will they find a way to flee? Who is the girl with the broken voice and why is nothing what she seems? Who would Ana save if she had to choose between two people who she loves?

But nothing graficly shocking should be included, just a couple of murders discussed that could absolutely not be avoided.) (All characters are strictly fictional. I feel this should be highlighted, for while inspiration is always tied to the outer world, imagination composes a story out of it and colors the outcome with dreams and nightmares.) Magic? Nope. Hidden towns? Definitely not. Sexy mentors? Well.... oh, go on then. Sounds like a bad acid trip, right, but it turns out there's a lot of things that have been hiding in plain sight. Faye was just minding her own business until she bumped into a group of strangers on a night out. They open her eyes up to a whole new world full of magic and take her to the place she is to call home from then on, the compound. There are compounds all over the world hidden from the regular human eye. When she arrives, her life is full of drama, trying to learn about her gifts, make new friends, and simply just stay alive. Her mentor is supposed to be there to help her through things, but will he make her life easier or more complicated? My guess is the latter, but he is so gorgeous that a little complication is a small sacrifice to make. Dane just wants to get left alone. Ever since losing his brother, he's not been quite the same. Faye is forced upon him, and he has to try and train the new girl with a smile on his face. Easier said than done...Complete
