Connor Clive only ever wanted to make a life for himself. His main focus was completing his studies in Philosophy. Nothing else mattered except making his mother proud and happy. And when he finally reached graduation, he felt over the moon.

He had everything planned out. His dream job. His dream home. Even his dream dog. But it all went to shit when Connor found out he only had a month and a half left to live due to a new, rare and seemingly incurable disease. With this new information, his whole world in the making begins to unravel.

Then, it unravels even faster when he starts rubbing shoulders with Devika Larsson, a woman he went to university with. She seems to have made it her life's mission to torment Connor in his final year of living. Or so he thinks.

When Devika presents Connor with an opportunity to save himself from his rapidly growing affliction, he hesitantly accepts her offer. Now, as he goes on a journey to save his own life, he begins saving more than just that and at the same time, discovers things that make him question everything he has ever known about the world he lives in.
