Evan was always too afraid to get close to someone he didn't know, so even though he probably had a strong chance of finding his soulmate, in reality, he had no chance of actually finding them. Or at least in his mind.

Evan had pretty much given up on finding his soulmate.

Though he'd recently - and quite frankly, surprisingly- acquired a friendship with one boy by the name of Connor Murphy, who Evan had heard rumors of that made him anxious.

So he wasn't quite sure as to how he acquired this friendship, with Evan's social anxiety, and Connor's bitterness toward most.

Though at least they had a strong bond when it came to trees.
