Mackenzie Ann Davern was her full name but everyone knew her as Kenzie, literally everyone knew her. She was considered perfect, popular, and pretty. Well beautiful covered it better. Even though she was well known, she like to just be with her small group of friends who knew her the best, or they thought they knew what kind of girl she was until the summer she went away on a family vacation and the secrets hidden behind her eyes were spilled with the tears that slipped off her cheeks. Kenzie always had a plan of what to do if that ever happened but now she isn't sure if she can go through with it. Will Kenzie's friends understand her fear? Will they feel betrayed and untrusted?

I lie there staring into her forest green eyes that were staring back at me. I felt a pang of hurt in my chest when i realize what she just told me. I grab her hands in mine as i feel tears brim my eyes, "Kenzie, come on you can't do this me!"
