Not because she's a picky person but more of because she has a heart of gold, willing to help everyone, everyone BUT Adrien. Both hated each other, probably the one thing they have in common. When Adrien turns 18 he finally finds out who Ladybug is and he can't wait to date her. Mari finally has the courage to tell Adrien how she feels. The only thing stopping them is Hawk Moth and their terrible luck.
