Valerie, also known as Val, had a rough childhood. Growing up, she never felt actual happiness. She wasn't like the other kids. She hated playing outside, playing with toys, and dressing up.

In her teen years, all she got was heartbroken. Even though she had two parents and was financially stable, she was surrounded by toxicity. So she turned to boys and friends to depend on.

Javier was always more mature than the people he grew up with. He never cared about girls, or love in that matter. Just chasing the bag and building a life for himself.

Then Valerie Messar became a part of his life and love became a word in his vocabulary.
