~He tugged on the sleeve of Aurora's leather jacket as she turned to leave, "Wait!" He said as he turned her back to look at him. Tears had already pooled in her blue-grey eyes as she turned to look up at him.
"Draco, let me go," Aurora said warningly, as her eyes that just a moment ago projected pain, now held anger that seared into Draco's own grey eyes. "Besides, you wouldn't understand."
"No." He said before sighing. "Make me understand, Aurora. I can't help you if you don't talk to me." Draco wasn't even sure if she heard him, with the wind of the somber night blowing around them; as they stood at the top of the Astronomy Tower-the only place to be alone this late at night.
Aurora closed her eyes and dropped her head before letting the tears fall silently. She scoffed and looked up at him, "Now you want to talk?! Draco, I've been trying to get you to talk for months! You shove me aside, you barely talk to Ravyn, Theo, and Blaze anymore. It's like we don't exist unless you want something. Ever-Ever since the Yule Ball, you've made it clear on a lot of things and it seems like whatever your father wants to do, you follow suit. Like a little G.I. Joe soldier, just taking orders!" Aurora then linked their left arms together. "Remember, when you once told me, that we're not defined by the dreams of our parents? Where did that Draco go? Because all I see before me is a shadow of your former self; a copy of your father."
Aurora pulled their sleeves up to bear their marks. The Dark Mark on Draco's and the Thunderbird tail feather on her own. Draco flinched slightly but met Aurora's eyes once more to see that she did not shy away. "What are you saying, Aurora?" Draco asked as he fought his own tears, he touched the feather gently like he was tracing it.
Aurora then kissed his Mark before looking up at Draco, "Let me help you."~
