After Connor looked upon his fathers broken body, he knelt down to close those cold eyes once more. Haytham was dead, defeated. A necessary action, but it weighed down on him.
Connor decided to check his pockets for any news about Charles Lees whereabouts. He found them, and a bloody letter addressed to himself.
With hesitant hands, Connor unfolded the sticky paper and read on.
