Eden Schofield doesn't have her own life.
With her first brother's recent onset of limb-girdle muscular dystrophy and her second brother's autism, her life pretty much revolves, well, around them. Combined with the burdensome prospect of succeeding her arsehole of a father's barber shop, Eden has basically resigned herself to her fate. And she doesn't trust or depend on anyone but herself.
However, when a Norwegian-born, Chinese-speaking, but inherently English tetra pak hoarder signs up as a volunteer at her brother's autism support centre, their lives unknowingly begin to intertwine in every way possible. Slowly but surely, she begins building her trust in Asbjørn Ben Yao, and they form a relationship she never expected.
Eventually, Eden learns that it is okay to rely on people at times - because she will never be alone in this world.

16 year old Danae's life is slowly going downhill with trying to get a job and get into college. His mum doesn't make it any easier though. She's hot headed and is always annoyed at Danae because he looks just like his dad, who his mum has just divorced. His best friend Eden is having problems with her boyfriend and Danae slowly develops feelings for her. They hang out and play video games once a week, which is the highlight of his weeks. He doesn't want to jeopardise his friendship by telling Eden he has romantic feelings for her, until he gives in shortly after their shared kiss. Btw I imagine Danae similar to Cole from the Netflix Series: My Life With The Walter Boys. And I imagine Eden to look like a brunette version of Sarah from Outer Banks.
