The strange events and the more or less wicked characters in this book are meant to shock, intrigue or inspire wonder. The story takes place in a science fiction setting and is filled with dark humor and aliens with questionable moral characters that are related with human. Their adventures could inspire important conversations about our nature and the paths our specie might take but even if It didn't It would still provide an anti-example for us to learn from.
