Matt Williams is your average quiet guy. He is not only an introvert, but also loves to read and win academic awards. The downside to it though is that he gets made fun of by the football jocks, more certainly, Logan Schwartz. Who is incredibly stupid and idiotic. His best friend, Gerald Bug, used to stick by his side, like they were congenital twins. The problem is, he broke them up. He decided that he wanted to be known as the cool guy, so he stuck with the lame football jerks, even though he hates football. Gerald still talks to Matt, but only on video calls. He can't hang out with Matt in front of the jocks, or he would be just like Matt, even though he is just like him inside. Matt hates the idea of being alone and school, but he can't say anything about it, or he would be alone. So, you can say Matt is just like the other nerds. But the only thing that separates him from the others is that he can dream, without forgetting. It's like photographic memory, except, it's non realistic. There is one person that he fonds over deeply, and that is no other than Juniper Woods.
Juniper Woods, the definition of popularity. It seems like everyone you meet already knows her. But how? That's because her mother, Talia St. Clark, invented the cure for Alzheimer's. Well at least before she died. But her own mothers death, would not make her crack. Her reputation was too sacred to break. She is always hardworking, dressed like a model, and running North Seattle High School like it is her world, so she is god. As the most popular girl in the school, you have to date a popular guy, or it would leave a scar on your reputation skin. Logan is indeed the most popular guy in the school. They have been together since Sophomore Year. So as Seniors, you can surely call them a regular couple. They have their ups and downs.. Because she is always busy, she doesn't ever pay attention to un useful students, like Matt. But what she doesn't know, is that her and Matt are best friends.
His faint laugh stopped me in my tracks, my body turning sightly to look at him again. "That was cute. Really, I loved it, but you know I can't just stay away." He said while using air quotations for the last part of his sentence.
My narrowed eyes continued to shoot daggers at him, "and why is that, Grayson? Huh?" I asked in a mocking tone. He rubbed along his jaw while pulling in on his bottom lip, his head lightly shaking from side to side. "What?" I said louder, my patience long gone.
"I live right next door," he deadpanned, "I'm not going anywhere. As far as I'm concerned we're gonna be seeing each other practically every day, so this whole thing about staying away just isn't going to work for you. I don't let things I love go so easily." A chill went down my spine as I watched him walk up the stairs of his porch, "sweet dreams, Cam."
