Maybe she is not thinking right as all this time she is having her heart being blinded by some human exchange which was her past. Her mind is foggy with the emotions. The high from emotions is worse than high from alcohol so she shut her mind and ran from all the thinking.
' I don't know.' she muttered with full frowns crowning her head.
"Earth to doctor." Adam interrupted her in her chilled thoughts. She looked at him with her tensed face and quickly changed her expressions and gave him her biggest grin.
She's giving him a full blown smile but he gets the look inside her eyes, void of any spark and tense, her eyes are shining as she is controlling her tears to fall from her eyes. He gets that she is hiding her misery behind her great smile and she looks determined to not even let anyone come close to her misery.
"You know starring is bad"
"I'm Not staring. I'm just looking at the irony between your feelings and your smile." He quickly replied and she moved the face to look out from the window. Maybe he did think that she is psycho but didn't voice it...ohh, what words can do to people
"Don't look, I don't need your sympathy."
He didn't reply to her and till the way back to Adam's city home silence surrounded them. Each one finding the right way to conserve their secret. Unaware that 'sadness can't be defeated with more sadness and no hope for excitement.'
