The group of four, Evelyn, EJ, Flynn and Haper, have grown up together in a small town. Evelyn goes to school in the richer part of town, the southside, while her friends all go to the high school near their houses on the northside. EJ tries his hardest to be independent of his parents, he is going down a dark path of drugs and messing with the wrong people could put more than just his own life in danger.
Flynn has his future planned out for him by his overprotective and controlling parents, for him, his friends are more of a loving family than he has ever had. Harper is the happy cheerleader who everyone loves but she really only wants the love of her real friends. She hates the fake life she's put her self in it seems to her the only thing that's real anymore is her og friend group.
