Harry Potter was kidnapped from his house at the age of 1 on Halloween. Everyone believed him to be dead after a blanket soaked in his blood turns up at Ministry. Surprisingly enough Voldemort disappears after baby Harry is kidnapped. It is believed that Voldemort met his downfall because of Harry.
