You just arrived in Alola with your mom, dad, and your brother sun to start your new life. And with your new life, you get to pick out your first Pokémon! But a strange encounter at the Pokémon center takes a twist, but ends up being a good one.
With your new Pokémon by your side, you're ready for battles, and to make new friends along the way. You encounter Team Skull, and with an easy win, you meet eye to eye with a blonde haired boy. Mysterious, quiet, and a bit off the edge. You want to get to see him again, but when?

(Gladion X Reader!!) Gladion comes off as rather rude and uncaring. At least... to most people. But during the crazy events that happened at the aether foundation, (F/N) saw that he low key cares about his sister, mother, Pokémon, and even her. Alola to a New Journey!
Basically, a typical betrayal story...without a betrayal, so to speak. Basically, Ash's pals think it is time to try something new. His Kalos league run got everyone so excited, only for Ash to lose. They started to wonder if a Master is the right way for him to go. Disappointed that his friends lost their faith, Ash sets of to Alola, hoping to clear his mind. When a brand new League is announced to be opened, Ash takes a chance on this opportunity to finally become a Champion, putting him one step closer to Master. This is going to be separate from canon, with some similarities. This is not going to have Ash catching a bunch of Legendarys, or using the whole ''Aura" thing, It's just good old Ash, on a good old adventure. I will include Meloetta, since it's my personal favorite Mythical Pokemon, and Ash will catch Poipole / Naganadel. I dont think I will include Melmetal in Ash's team, for a reason you'll see further in. But Meloetta wont be caught, it's kind of just along for the ride. :) Team Rocket, our loveable trio of dorks, is still a loveable trio of dorks, they just, aren't part of Rocket anymore. They are now members of Team Cook. Yep, they're cooks now. And maybe also a guest appearance from a fan favorite Ninja Amphibian? Anyways, this is my first story with a main ship, too: Aureliashipping.(Ash x Lillie) It wont be the main focus, but I will include a few moments to hopefully please the crowd. That's about it.
