Charlotte Jane McGee is officially a senior in high school. With great friends, an amazing family, and what's looking to be an exciting future ahead of her, C.J. is content with the way things are. Her heart is still mending from a past relationship, but time is healing those wounds. Everything is going to be okay. That is, until a new boy shows up in her Statistics class. He's cute, but nobody knows where he came from. They haven't had a new student in the class in years, and the one time there is someone new, he keeps his past to himself. He's immediately popular with the other girls, but C.J. knows she's the one who's meant to be with him. The only question is, will he be around long enough for her to get him to open up and love her the way she hopes to be loved?
