And now that her brothers left for college leaving her alone with her mother, there's no one to keep her from trouble. Jo fears the future. She fears growing up, having responsibilities, bills and leaving the good times with her friends. When her friends start fading away, preparing for after high school Jo finds comfort with someone who teaches her that she doesn't have to give herself away to grow up. She finds someone who doesn't make her feel so alone and fear the future.
