It's a story of a girl whose life changed suddenly by haunted memories of her past life. I am an Indian girl but adopted by foreigners. We live in the USA. I know, I am adopted at the age of 2 years. Though I am adopted my parents have never been shown any difference between my brother and me. After they adopted me, they had a boy. He also knows about my adoption. Whom I am very fond of. He is also very protective of me. We both are resident doctors in a famous hospital in my area. I have a loving family and a career now. But... Everything changed because of a person who is haunting me in my dreams. Then my adopted parents told me he is from my past life and told me the reason for life which was told by my real parents to them.

"Tell me, Prakriti... tell me how much you love me," he demands, pinning my wrists against the wall. Pain shoots through me. I look up-and I don't see the man I once dated. I see a stranger. A monster. "Answer me! Why aren't you saying anything?" His eyes blaze red with fury. I squeeze my eyes shut, the pain in my wrists nothing compared to the ache in my chest. He grabs my face with one hand. "Just say it! Say you love me, dammit!" I summon every ounce of strength and shove him away. He stumbles back. I breathe-finally. But before I can run, he lifts a knife and marches toward me. I freeze. The blade glints. My thoughts spiral. Is this how it ends? I close my eyes. I'm done fighting. 3 I should never have listened to uncle. 2 I should've told him the truth. 1 Told him how I really felt. That... That- 0 I love him. Ishaan My Ishaan I brace for pain. But it never comes. Instead-a gunshot. I open my eyes. And there he is. Gun in hand. Ishaan Agnihotri
