Aubrey's school is overloaded with all sorts of self-obsessed Barbie dolls with glossy hair, bronze tan... and if there are Barbies, of course there are Ken dolls fawning over them. She always wished that she could fit in and not pushed towards the lunch tables where no one sat.(It was right next to the restroom!)

Lynx Turner is the captain of the football team. He had it all; the head cheerleader, the rank of the most popular boy in school and a reserved seat at the jocks' table. But sometimes he would feel as if he had nothing. He needed someone to make him whole. Someone to light up the darkness inside.
