freaks is a song-based story from "Freaks" by Surf Curse.
Elijah, a 16 year old boy is trying to come out as gay to his abusive mother, an alcoholic, who just lost her husband. He keeps having reoccurring dreams about a boy. When he does come out, it goes south, and he runs to the woods. He stumbles upon a group of people who he tries to run away from, but quickly gets stopped by the boy in his dreams- Lee. He teaches elijah how to love again, and eventually helps him run away from their small hometown with the help of lee and his friends. But everything comes to an end, right?
