this might not be 100% in character but just to get a few thing clear:

they are their respective species, a bit like beastars??

tom is in his mid 40s and redd is in his early 40s

the nooklings are teens lol, they're not little

redd lives somewhere in japan but i might not write it well because i do not live there

redd is easily a foot and a bit taller than tom

anything else and i'll put it here
