It's the year 2320. Everyone at cybernetic have gotten used to living with computers and machines surrounding them. Nature is almost a foreign concept. It is almost like a stranger. Artificial intelligence and innovations have managed to sustain life even without the very thing that gave birth to its creators but will life be able to sustain living this way? Will there ever be an end? What if something falls on the wrong hands. What will happen? Will life go on? Or will it cease to exist?

Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014)
This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. This time something goes wrong, a glitch in the server. So, entering this dangerous glitch provided that whenever it's "Game Over.", it's game over in the real world as well. Some have more potential than others and are selected by the Elders before they start their formal schooling to fulfill prestigious positions after graduation. These students train together in a special facility and are respected by the society. Belle and Derek both hold those prestigious positions. Belle as an Agent and Derek as the Executioner. They've been accused and tried for the murder of a respected Agent. A murder that they did not commit. Now, they are thrust into the experimental punishment that is the Ki'i. The convicted are thrust into an enclosed area and left there until only one remains alive. The last one standing gains his or her freedom and a secure job in the government. Belle and Derek are best friends and neither one are willing to kill the other, but when their circumstances change, they have a chance to fight back against the Elders that sentenced them.
