Azura comes to Elina just as the Equestria Girls arrive. It's a good thing they showed up as well. Azura and the other guardians of Fairytopia have decided to select 14 new apprentices to learn the Flight of Spring, one of the most important events that secures the future of Fairytopia. And the guardians want Elina and the Equestria Girls to be eight of them! They fly to the Crystal Palace, where they learn how the flight goes: they open the First Blush of Spring, which will reveal the first rainbow for the fairy world. Fail, and Fairytopia is doomed for ten years of bitter winter. Slowly, all fourteen apprentices get to know each other, with Sunburst, Elina, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack becoming the most competitive towards each other. But it's not like things can go perfect for long. In fact, Elina, Linden, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy accidentally get Laverna out of her frog form, and things get even weirder when Sunburst suddenly starts acting nice. Three of the apprentices keep confronting them on the mistake. Oh, and the guardians fall into comas. The Enchantress knows that the fourteen have to complete the flight together. Description about story: Twilight Sparkle finds an ancient star chart which shows the location of another world, Earth, as well as a powerful teleportation spell capable of interstellar travel. Princess Celestia allows Twilight to go to the other world for exploration. However, due to the Changeling invasion during the royal wedding, the negative energies it produced also frees Discord from his stone prison, who also decides that Earth should be his new playground. Meanwhile the Autobots continue to defend Earth from Megatron, and his Decepticons; ignorant that a new player is about to release chaos upon the world. And Megatron is not about to let another would-be conqueror steal his prize. Equestria also has it's problems when Queen Chrysalis returns to Canterlot, bent on usurping Celestia and Luna. Twilight Sparkle, and Optimus Prime must save two worlds from three powerful villains.

Starlight knows. She now knows everything. Upon seeing the seven Equestria Girls leaving their last movie, they have no choice but to spill their story. Of course, she insists on going too, saying she can replace Rainbow Dash temporarily (as she's down for the count currently). And so they do. Now in the movie world, they meet 12 sisters and their father, King Randolph. And as a twist, Randolph's mind has changed to believe that the newcomers are just seven more of his daughters. Even the sets and plotlines change to add to this effect. Of course, the 12 sisters are quick to figure out the truth, just as Randolph brings in his cousin, Duchess Rowena, to turn them into "proper princesses." Rowena takes away everything the girls love. But one night, they all uncover a magical world, where they can dance to their hearts content. Starlight finds herself falling in love with a fantastical movie world she doesn't want to leave. But like with the golden pavilion, all good things had to reach an ending. And in the case of the movie, they have to stop Rowena before she poisons Randolph and takes over the kingdom.
