The Last of Our Days

It all happened so fast. The news. The riots. The dead roaming the now empty streets. It all hit us in a painful blur. All I had hoped for was to live a normal life, but now I can see that it will never be like I had dreamt it to be. What I don’t get is that this day started off almost normal too. I have played many video games based around the undead as well as watched a good amount of zombie T.V. shows, but I would never have thought that it would actually come to be real.

We need to get out of here and get somewhere safe. I don’t want to end up like them. We don’t want to end up like them. So, we need to move, and quickly.
