You think you know someone... Serena and Eli have known each other for as long as they can remember. Their parents are good friends and all but that doesn't necessarily mean they have to get along as well. Serena always thought that being a basketball prodigy destined for the pros has made Eli obnoxious and she finds his inflated ego out of this world. However, with failing grades hindering Eli's road into the pros, Serena helps him out of kindness and goodwill. Just kidding! Truth be told, she prefers to use her free time baking rather than endure Eli's unpleasant company. Until her parents "ask" her nicely to tutor Eli, the ever-obedient Serena, afraid of being a disappointment, reluctantly agrees. As the two of them spend more and more time together, they learn that even if they've known each their whole lives there are some things about each other that is just a delightful surprise.

Maxine Briannaly Julieter Celestery Ocampo Fernandez was known by many. Beautiful, intelligent, talented, athletic. She was the kind of girl people admired from afar. As the only daughter of the wealthy Fernandez family, everyone believed she had the perfect life, but behind her elegance and achievements was a girl silently falling apart. The past haunted her more than anyone knew. The memories she carried slowly destroyed the happiness their family once had, leaving wounds she could never explain to others, and every expectation from her parents rested painfully on her shoulders. People saw her as strong, but deep inside, Maxine felt invisible... like someone always present yet never truly understood. Living no longer felt like life to her. She thought that was all her life would ever be. Until Kinneth Klent Meranda Garcia entered it. The most popular student in Ten Jen Raffa Academy. Wealthy, handsome, talented, and loved by many. He was everything Maxine found exhausting. Her greatest rival. The person she argued with almost every day, and the boy she promised herself she would never grow close to. Yet he stayed. He slowly became part of her life without her even noticing. He broke through the walls she built around herself and made her see the world differently. He was the only person who could anger her and calm her heart at the same time. Around him, she felt safe. Around him, she felt less alone. And somewhere along the way, Maxine realized that what she felt for him was no longer simple friendship. But before she could finally gather the courage to tell him everything..... umalis siya. Babalik pa kaya siya?
