It took weeks for his recovery, and one moment to lose it all 

One moment changed everything. 

Seven months later:

River Raeken is off the wagon. Back to his old habits. The drinking. After leaving England and leaving Blaze he goes back to New York where his life goes up in the air. His friends and family try with him, but he can't stop this time. He's lost Blaze and also lost himself. He doesn't know what to do or how to get out of the never ending forest he is in. He's hopeless now, and a part of him doesn't care if he dies. 

Blaze is pretty torn up, memories flood her brain everyday. She's on a steady path with her life. She's changed college course, has a job and feels different. Though in her heart she still wants River. Like she promised herself when he left, she plans to see him, needing peace of mind from the torturous feeling of worry. 


Can the two find each other again or will the flames drown out?
