Now, she's stuck on a vast land surrounded by beaches, caves, forests, creepy monkeys that steal clothes, and more oddities she has yet to discover. The only "good" thing about her situation is that there's a strange boy already on the island. He seems to know everything and nothing at the same time but vows to help her get back. There's no memory of how he got to the isolated land but he's never considered leaving. Not once. When he found Maya perched against a couple of rocks in the ocean he thought she wasn't real. Now he's forced to use long lost social skills in order to help the understandably desolate but lively girl navigate the dangers of the island and hopefully send her home. He's been numb to all emotions for as long as he can remember but her sudden appearance has created an interesting change...
