A story of 5 kids that go to high school, follow their paths as they all go through many stages. Contains the subject of sexual harassment, abuse, LGBT+, trauma, etc. As each one of them go through dark paths some find their way out and face the reality of life, finding their joy on themselves with other characters, it gets tensed as the book progressed.

It is a tale of both tragedy and triumph - how I almost died on more than one occasion, but persevered and eventually found love, friendship, human connection and greater understanding of the world and its ways, as well as reconciliation with my abusers. Ricky also died, getting into a fight with the people who practically killed James. Now, James has to lead Ricky through the In Between to get to The dead world, AKA Tamir, but there are many obstacles they need to face, including birds trying to eat them, wolves and bees, and fighting their own shadows on top of a train. ~ Also I'm writing this with a friend, so it's not just my work.
