Rain Ampsteen and her family had always been an easy going, free spirited joint that likes to "Grab life by its horns," and never settle for an ordinary life. Every summer they make it a mission to go on different adventures that test their limits, explore what they know about their world and have them grow closer as a unit.
At the age of seventeen it is one of the last adventures that Rain will go on before heading off to college and a boring life involving her newly gained academic career. Determined to make the most of it, she packs up her bags with her family and her two best friends, heading to a mansion built in the late 1940's.
The mansion was meant to be haunted and included a rich background in the gory suicides that took place before the great fire in the mid 1900's. Rebuilt by the descendants of the original owners, the mansion was lived in for several more years before the past caught up with them and was turned into a museum of sorts.
Shortly after arriving Rain soon realizes that nothing is what it seems and the 'deaths' from the past were still reoccurring with new victims after a certain amount of years. This time around Rain is the new victim! With a race against time, Rain and the allies of those that had died before her rush to try and do what hasn't ever been down before- stop her death from occurring.
