Leah Coombes thought she knew exactly what she was in for when she started to sort through her mother's attic, but what she didn't expect to find was an old box filled with letters addressed to a missing girl called Hope. With the help of the letters and added research, Leah discovers that Hope disappeared during a stay at Sunnyside Recuperation Camp for young mental disorder sufferers, but through the eyes of Myka, Hope's sister, she witnesses a new found love, a break in and a type of desperation she didn't realise existed. Armed with Myka's letter, Leah vows to find out exactly what happened to Hope during that month at Sunnyside, but with the camp and other witnesses proving impossible, can the truth really be uncovered?Todos los derechos reservados

Hope has always expected the worst when it comes to people. Although who could blame her? Since she was about the age of five Hope and her brother Gavin have been in foster care. They never knew their father. Before they were born he had left their mother to be a teen mom on her own. As for their mother to them, she was the most wonderful and caring person they knew. To everyone else she was A depressed mother that had spent more time on drugs than off of them. She cared about her kids she really did, she just didn't know how to handle them. Hope has always been there for her little brother. She hides all of her problems and focuses on her twin brother making sure that he is always happy and dosent know about her problems, because honestly at this rate shes turning into their mom. And that could just cost her life and the ones of the people around her. *Under rewrite so it won't really make sense* (I came up with the plot line and all of the characters please do not copy my work)

Inside were faded photographs, letters written in a child's handwriting, and a locket she had never seen before-yet it felt so familiar. A strange sense of déjà vu washed over her as she traced the engraving on the locket: Forever Remember. As Lena pieced together the fragments of her past, memories long buried began to resurface-some warm and comforting, others dark and unsettling. She remembered laughter echoing through a sunlit house, the scent of freshly baked cookies, and the soft hum of a lullaby. But then, there were shadows-flashes of terrified screams, a locked door, and a name whispered in fear. Her heart pounded as she unfolded a fragile letter at the bottom of the box. The words sent a chill down her spine: Lena, if you ever find this, know that the truth was hidden to protect you. Do not dig further. Some memories are meant to be forgotten. But it was too late. The whispers in her dreams, the eerie familiarity of strangers on the street, and the overwhelming sense that she was being watched-it all made sense now.
