As Elizabeth tries to survive the transition from small town life, to big city new girl, she realizes that relationships are the true complexity in her life.

Struggling with major anxiety disorder, and a complicated past, she believes that she is incapable of being loved. That it was never destined for her.

After many failed relationships, she learns when they will end. Sees when they want an out. Knows when to pull away before she can get hurt.

But when someone new runs into her life, she learns that maybe this time will be different.

Maybe this time, this one will stay.

As Katie struggles with her abusive past, she discovers that hiding from it only causes more harm.

Dealing with chronic CPTSD flashbacks and dissociation, she tries to run from love. Lying, hiding, and fleeing, self destructing when things get hard is the only way she knows how to cope.

When feelings resurface that she hadn't felt in ages, she doesn't know what to do other than to sabotage it. Constantly avoiding the truth of what she went through, to try to protect herself.

She will always try and push away.

But the person she falls for wont let go so easily.

So what will she do when she is asked to break down her walls?
