Universe of Soulmates
This is a collection of short stories centered around soulmates. Each story has its own characters, with their own conflicts, romances, hopes, and dreams. Although these stories are in no way connected to each other, I'm hoping I can touch on a little bit of everyone's worlds--from heterosexual relationships to transgender people to non-binary gender identification and everything in between (bear with me, I will do my best to research these and if something is wrong let me know because I want to understand other people's worlds). Camilo Carter is The Doctor of East Hadena, one of the deadliest serial killers the city has ever seen. He's excellent at what he does, with no signs of getting caught any time soon. He thinks he has it all figured out, sees himself as almost bulletproof. He's never slipped up, never come remotely close. Camilo is untouchable. That is, until the really hot lead investigator of his case moves in across the hall. ~ "Perfect," he tells me, tone low. My heart practically stops beating in my chest. "I meant you're perfect." Due to a security breach, Raya has to fire her manager and is on the hunt for someone who can live up to that job. What will happen when Raya and Ada meet in a bar? Will Raya finally be able to find a manager or maybe even more?
