The pro heros "deku", "Shoto", and "Ground Zero (not his official hero name I don't think)" get a side job in a small town band with Shinso, dabi, and denki. There are a few relationships you learn about in this book, but there are some bumps in the road for todoroki, relationship wise, and health wise. Medoriya, bakugo, and Todoroki are the lead singers. Denki is a drummer, and dabi and todoroki are the guitarist while shinso works with the technology and sometimes is a back-up singer with dabi.

After Katsuki helps Izuku get a job at the discount store he works at, Izuku soon has to face the crush he's been harboring for his childhood friend. While he deals with that, he has immediate chemistry with cashier Ochako, and finds himself caught between two crushes. Tenya, one of the managers, struggles with a secret that could ruin his career, and tries to understand his feelings and choices on the matter. Momo only wants to prove herself as the best employee she can be, despite not needing this job in the first place, but her crush on a manager does not make that easy on her. Dating a coworker is one of those taboos that gets broken pretty often, but in this store, it's starting to get a little ridiculous.
