Pinky Swear

"You promised." I said looking at him.

He didn't say anything, letting that be his answer to me.

I closed my eyes letting the tears fall down. I wish I could reverse time, keep us from making the mistakes that tore us apart, so we could still be together.

I walked to him, tears still streaming down my face, as I remembered 11 years ago he made me a promise.

"I guess this is goodbye?" My voice broke.

I looked at him taking in all his perfection. I moved his hair away from his face touching him for the last time.

I turned around, walking away, but before I left I stopped momentarily.

"Goodbye Leo."

Then he was gone.
