"Shadow, how do you feel about more pups?" I asked, unsure. We'd just had a litter a year ago, but we were wolves, and for wolves, this was how it was supposed to be, wasn't it? I saw a bunny squeak and run away in the distance.
Shadow looked at me with an uncertain expression. "If it's alright with you," he said, shrugging. A flock of beautiful white birds called out shrilly behind me, and I jumped. I shook my head, then nodded, and then lay back into the grass.

I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!"
