Jennifer Grace was never popular in her school. In fact, she feels as though everyone thinks she's at the bottom of the pile. She's not. Jennifer has a secret she hides; she is extremely intelligent and thoughtful in ways that only a time-weary adult can understand. It is because of this that she feels like an alien amongst "friends." She controls her despair of being different by writing stories. The stories help her confidence until the day everything changes...September 11.
