Sparing none,
It spread far and wide,
Embracing its victims inside,
With a death's grip,
Who knew a year to welcome,
Will turn into graveyard,
Every second there is a death,
Throughout the entire globe,
Dying away from home,
Buried by strangers in lome,
Never seen by loved ones again,
Like a curse or hit by karma,
The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of,
Fear knocking on the doors,
Voice of mercy implore,
To live life more,
Lockdown of town,
Many works closed down,
Dreams of many drown,
As workers laid off,
Schools and universities closed,
Social isolation had forced,
An eerie silence upon them enforced,
While fear haunted their existence,
one question was at the forefront,
When was this going to end,
Sorrow filled eyes not wishing to defend,
Instead of welcoming the day,
Now people check updates on the virus,
From the time they wake up untill they sleep,
Lives filled with terror of death,
Fear of losing loved ones,
The virus spread dissipating,
Eliminating everything,
That stood on its way,
Prayers and cries can be heard,
To save the world from the virus,
Pleading every soul to stay safe,
It is possible for it to come to an end,
If everyone acts smartly,
Instead of playing blame game,
Its never late to start praying,
Stay home and save many lives,
Spread positivity with hope,
Who knows someone's prayer,
Might get answered to heal the world,
And florish again!!
