Meet Keith. A handsome 16 year old with curly jet black hair, a sweet jawline that could cut glass, fairly strong muscular build a height of roughly 6'1 and one douchey ass personality. Living with a drunk, unemployed father caused a hindrance in his life, having to work day and night shifts to save up for college was tiring, as well as trying to hide his double life from his friends who seemed to believe he was living the dream, no one knew about his life, his struggles, no one, except Sharon. Sharon was a shy introverted teenager with honey blonde hair, a smile that could kill, two lovely parents and a gorgeous home filled with happiness. And both their worlds clashed, and that's where everything began. Sharon and Keith, two outcasts who befriended each other halfway through middle school, made their way to high school finally. Keith becomes the "popular" jock, and begins to feel embarrassed of his more reserved best friend. Hierarchical differences within the walls of the school slowly develop a wedge between them, now with no friends and feelings of depression overwhelming Sharon, she struggles through her teenage years, battling suicidal thoughts. However Keith, too, has his own battles to fight. With his deteriorating condition, suffering with his leukemia, which he has tried his absolute best, to let remained concealed among his so called friends. Keith's declining health soon forces him to forgo school, with tubes stuck up in his arms 24/7, eating sloppy tasteless hospital food and undergoing chemo every three to four weeks. A coincidental encounter at the hospital once more, reignites the duo's old friendship. Sharon soon gets a newfound will to live, if not for her, then for her friend, who needed her, and keep at par, the selfish feelings of concealed love she had for him. Now the two have promised not to make the same mistakes as before and not drift apart, but fate has it different for them,sadly,life may not always be the fairy tale you think it is.
