Patton's poetry book is like his diary, it's a way of getting the less than awesome feelings out of the way rather than making any of his kiddos worried. In fear of the others finding out his deepest darkest thoughts and feelings he keeps this book locked, and the key around his neck on a necklace and a special shell under his bed. Hope fully no one asks what the necklace means
