Ester has a date at the new cafe by the park. neither of them have ever been there before, and things start going wrong the moment Ester leaves the house, but trying new things can't hurt, can it? ... can it?
Another story under the pseudonym of Ester Amaranda Persephone Duffy, a horror writer character i created for a D&D game but who evolved into a writer with merit of her own. I enjoy writing from her POV quite a bit. Before reading this, i would highly recommend you check out my previous title under her name, the Pit of 1000 hands. it is not intergral to enjoying this story, but it'll provide some extra context for the characters' behavior, especially near the end.

Horror's Story
Horror is an interesting person, and by far the most difficult genre to get ahold of. It took me forever to convince him to sit down and have an interview with me, and most of the questions he answered by physically showing me what he wanted me to feel from him. He made me mourn, he made me panic, he made me feel lonely, he intensified my fears. I almost feel sorry for him now, because he can't feel love, or compassion. Just...a cold and pale creature; strong, bloodthirsty. His eyes hold all of the pain hiding in this world. He made me curious, and I paid for that curiosity in full. He showed me the souls of fallen heroes, screaming in the dark. He showed me what it feels like to be helpless to a force I can't control. He wrote me a narrative to read. It's perfect writing material, if tamed correctly. Compilation of stuff I wrote in 2014-15 and posted later on. I was 13 or 14 years old at the time, so it's interesting to look back on it sometimes. I slowly turned to look at him the smell of blood was painted on him the tears rolled down my cheeks his thick thumb wiped them away my body was shaking I was terrified of this man when his skin made contact with mine my body tingled with a foreign emotion, I looked up at his eyes letting him touch me afraid he would kill me if I moved. "Goodnight my Queen" I shivered at the title he had given me, I was scared to the bone and I was not about to argue with him while he had a taste for blood the look in his eyes told me he still wanted more when he entered the car earlier on. He tenderly kissed my forehead lingering as my heart exploded I waited patiently and shut my eyes praying for him to remove his lips from my skin so I could go home. He finally did and when he unlocked the car doors I jumped out and hurried to my apartment not looking back at the devil in the car. I finally reached my apartment panting and shut the door sliding down my door crying hysterically, I could still feel his cold lips on me. What did I just witness tonight. What did I get myself into. I was scared of the future because I knew surely he would be back to check on his Queen. The bat suddenly straightened its wings and with eyes wide open looked directly in hers. They were surprisingly big for such a little creature and astonishingly blue as deep ice. She could feel the chills coming down her spine, instantly exploding in her stomach. The look that bat gave to her own eyes felt like meeting an old friend she never met before... like it had always known her and waited for her to finally show up.
