They moved from Arizona to California. About 1/4 into her junior year, Riley had to go to a new school, and make new friends. She didn't really care about having friends though, as long as she was able to play soccer, she would be okay. Soccer had always been there for her, when her mom died, when she didn't have anyone else, when she was in a bad mood. It was always there for her to play. She didn't need anyone else. That changed when she met Brooke Eckmann. Brooke is also a junior in high school, and is the varsity teams goalie. When they first meet on the field, it was something different. She couldn't stop thinking about her. It was something both of them had never felt before. She didn't know what real friendship was like. Until she met Cassandra. Cassandra was that type of friend everyone needs and Kiara was really glad to have Cassandra. They did everything together. Kiara was really depressed before she met Cassandra. She had been bullied and picked on since as long as she can remember. There wasn't even a reason for it and that makes it much worse. After a few years of good friendship, Kiara realized her love for Cassandra took a different turn, she started to have feelings and soon after, she and Cassandra got into a relationship. Life was good. Too good. After graduation, something really really terrible happened. Cassandra got into a car accident. It was really bad. She got into a really bad coma. Now it's three years later and she's still fast asleep. Kiara's life has been on pause ever since. Until- Kiara also got into an accident. Not that kind of accident though..
