Just because we're living in a world where a disease can make the dead walk, doesn't mean that that disease is the only one we have to worry about. Junin2-one of the most deadliest diseases out there. We need the vaccine. Now that most doctors are dead and most medical equipment and knowledge is gone, we have to prepare for this disease as best we can. The only way we can do that, is get the vaccine. The only problem, the vaccine is locked away in a high security facility run by an AI. To get in, you must be registered as an employee of the company Xia-Hifa, the company that creates the vaccine. That is where I come in. Time is running out. Junin2 season is getting closer and closer. I have to get in there and get that vaccine before it kills us all in one of the most horrendous ways possible. It shouldn't be too hard-get my special T-shirt, do well on my performances, and get out. Should be okay, right? Wrong. A.N.N.I.E. is a lot smarter than we thought. Don't speak. A secret unknown mission, a shot down helicopter, a guilt-ridden heart, and no name. Yep, that sounds just about right. I came to Abel Township for one reason only, but after the unfortunate event of my helicopter being shot down by a rocket launcher of all things, I'm apparently going to be staying here a lot longer than planned. Because of it, I'm going to have to play nice in order to survive, which is a lot harder than it seems. Everyone carries a burden with them, me included. I'm a runner, and until I leave this pathetic little settlement I'm going to do my job, and run. But one of the things I'm learning it that nothing is ever as it seems. Each piece of the puzzle brings another question, another addition to the story shrouded in mystery and dripping with sinister intent. Maybe this settlement is as pathetic as I thought it was. Maybe my helicopter was shot down for a reason. I cannot wait around for an answer. I learned that long ago. Now deemed Runner Five, I have decided I will do what I have to do to find out every mystery here in Abel Township. And I'm going to start with my actual mission. What is Project Greenshoot... From Night On: Awakenings
It is the beginning of the apocalypse and Les is there at ground zero. After returning home for the funeral of a friend, his world in turned upside down by events that try his every sense of reason. The dead are returning from the grave, but not in the way that the world fears. They are completely sentient, but have no awareness of their time being dead. To them, they see each other as in their prime with a gentle mist about their forms, but, to the living, they appear as decomposed as they were just before being awakened. With the panic of the inexplicable event, the world is thrown into chaos. Religious extremist groups form out of a fear to combat the perceived invasion of the undead and Les finds himself as a target after befriending the undead. Running from one particular group, which calls itself "Christ's Protectors," Les finds himself running further and further from them while fortuitously stumbling upon more and more ancient clues to what is happening. Timeless loves are discovered, epic battles ensue, and the barriers between this world and the next are blurred as Les and his friends meet ancient gods and explore forgotten realms. Ezera spotted movement out of the corner of his eye, squinted as he approached one of the taller apartment complexes 'is that...' coming to a halt near the front of the building he quickly rolls down his window "ASHER?" Asher fumbles his grip in surprise and slips, falling a couple feet down onto the harsh pavement. "Asher what the hell are you doing hanging from a window?" he said as he slammed on the brakes and stuck his head further out the window to confirm it was in fact Asher. All of this commotion was starting to attract a small crowd and a few of 'them' started to lumber in the direction of the car. "Get in the fucking car dumbass". Without a second thought Asher grabbed his stuff and sprinted towards the car. Once he had dove in through the lowered back window the car took off again. "Only if you would have ran that fast at the tournament" he said to lighten the very serious mood. "If" Asher replies. ---- Once fierce rivals, Asher and Ezera now face a world turned upside down. A world where the dead walk and the living are no longer who they used to be. Together with Ezeras younger sister, they must navigate a nightmarish landscape where former friends and family have become relentless killers. As they battle both the undead and their own fears, the trio must uncover the dark secret behind the apocalypse or perish trying. Amid the chaos, unexpected bonds form, and sparks fly between Asher and Ezera, adding a glimmer of hope and love in a world where every moment could be their last.
