September's Reign

In a world where monarchy has come to mean the same thing as a dictatorship, where the king's authority is total. Where women have been striped of all their power, and labor workers struggle to get the rights they deserve. In what seems a world away, the castle behind the peaks, royalty live with no rules and abide by no laws of justice. Yet, once a year a poor peasant is picked from the masses, and treated like a queen for the month. What happens when the king's pick cares more for justice than any jewels the crown could offer.
