Despite her boyfriend's words, Gina Turner is on the run. She knows she doesn't have much of a head start, but she grew tired of living in fear. She was fed up with being Jack Keebler's punching bag.

On her journey of escape, she stops in a small town called Hidden Passes... and that is when everything changes. She meets Alan Collins, a mysterious and handsome outcast who wants nothing more than to help her. He risks his life to save her.

Against her better judgment, Gina decides to let him help, and he whisks her away. Something is intriguing about him that she can't explain. She discovers he is rich with a host of magnificent friends. But why does he seem so sad? Gina tries not to let herself fall for him, but her heart seems to have other ideas.

With Jack's death threat hanging over her head, and danger waiting at every turn, Gina can't help but think she's putting Alan in danger by being with him. Will she leave him behind? Or will her growing feelings stop her from making the right choice?
