Rosalyn Quin's world is split by eye color. If you have green eyes you have no powers and you are enslaved by those with Gold eyes, people with gold eyes have powers. The Keepers rule over all of Imperium, they are a council of powerful Golds. Rosalyn, a green, finds out a dark secret from her past that causes her and her twin brother to be thrown into the golds lives of luxury. Suddenly Rosalyn's brother Max is kidnapped, she and a few Golds have to figure out who did it in order to save him.
