Due to tight housing conditions on the surface, Sans accepts a desperate, last minute offer to shack up inside of this old radio station in the mountains temporarily. It's a bit of an awkward fit, but it's a roof and Sans isn't going to couch surf with Paps anymore now that he and Grillby are official.
