The Forsaken- A short story for an English Assignment

7 years After nuclear chemical outbreak sends the world into a panic, as flora and fauna die out at an extremely fast rate, a boy named Josh is one of the few survivors within a group of people, who take refuge in an abandoned city. The land surrounding the city is completely dead, and is called 'The Barens'. Josh receives a radio signal and takes a journey to a piece of land at sea chained to the country.
