Ezekiel Hades can not feel. But with what's looming on the horizon, he may not want to. When his mother Persephone has his magic unlocked prematurely, the trauma unlocked on Zeke represses his emotions as well as his sense of touch. Isolated from the world, Zeke becomes an outcast, separating himself from everything just like his parents did. However, his life changes when a decree comes from the Magician King, stating that in order to keep his family fortune, standing, and land, Zeke must attend the Kingdom's academy for magicians: Cirrus Magi-Military Academy. While there, Zeke's entire world, both physically and emotionally, gets turned upside down as he begins to make real friends, navigate through an unfamiliar society, and work towards preventing a centuries old family prophecy from coming true, on top of preparing for an upcoming war. Will Zeke succumb to the apathetic, cold darkness that is his world, or will he finally walk into the light of life?

(I will update this every Friday until it is eventually completed or replaced) Lucas Tathern was a shy closed in teenager trying to get through high school. His friends were few and one was rather strange. Until one day everything changed for Lucas. ***Note*** This story was written by me in the fourth grade. I recently rediscover this document while going through files on my old computer. It's poorly written and the plot is cliche and scattered. However, after rereading it I remembered the passion I had for this story and my efforts to express my creativity. Hopefully, I'll be able to rewrite this story and improve upon it because it still has a place in my heart. Hope you enjoy!
