What happens when one of the last freakshows comes to your town? Not only is it a grotesque event viewed for pleasure at a circus but one that harbors secrets and hidden evils behind the curtains. Scarlett didn't know what to think when she heard about the circus coming to her town; her town was small, rarely anything visited it. He dragged her to the basement; it smelt like fresh blood, human flesh, and death. The walls had blood smeared on them as if it was canvas, and death was their muse. He pushed her in, hovering over her, "Don't call a monster by its name, Petard; he will pull your heartstrings and show it to you before crushing it underneath its hands, turning it to dust. Oh! And one more thing darling, you should be more afraid of the monsters in my head darling, for they are terrible things" he grabbed a vat of liquid dumping it on her. Before she realized what was happening, Scarlett liquid started dripping down her body, making her chill to the bone, and a deafening scream followed, piercing the silence of the iron walls.

She stood there speechless watching the beads of blood dripping from the knife which she held in her hands...... He stood there speechless after he saw her dark side which was unexpected ....... "Did you kill....." his tried to speak but his throat suddenly went dry .... "I had to do it for a reason...please understand" she said with an innocent smile ..... He couldn't believe anything right now .... "How... how could you ....you just...?" He said ..... She soon came to reality....her mind went crazy after she saw the dead body in front of her. "No!!!oh no!!!!I just wanted to warn him but .....no I didn't do this right? !!!!" she said ,her body was trembling ,not with fear of killing him but the fear that she was slowing going insane .... Written for the Wattpad October Horror #justwriteit Challenge The demon entered her when, during their kiss, he opened his mouth wide and breathed into hers. She inhaled in shock and suddenly felt herself fall to the ground. He laughed, ecstatic that it was over; all his pain and agony and confusion were finally over. She clenched the rug in her fists, trying to keep herself on the ground. Bewildered, she felt a liquid emerge from and then drip off of her face. As she saw it hit the white carpet, she saw that it was blood. She tasted it in her mouth too, and heard its voice in her head. I will never leave you.

She said to herself trying to calm her heartbeats. She stood right in front of the dusty glass door. Placing both her hands on it she tried to push the door. For the split of a second she saw a young lady, her hands and face covered in blood, impatiently banging on the door. The wind around her went crazy. She heard random whispers in her head. Rhea was unable to focus on anything around her but the lady. The lady was saying something but for Rhea it felt like some random lips movement. She was scared out of her wits. Then suddenly everything went dead silent. The lady vanished. The whispers and the wind stopped. But then Rhea saw light imprints of blood on the glass door under the dusty layer. ************************************ This book basically contains short horror stories of my own imagination. Sweat trailed down her back as she ran with all her might. Blood slowly flowed out the long cut in her thigh. Loud snarls could be heard from behind her as the inhuman beings chased her with unimaginable speed. She couldn't scream, she was afraid and no one could help her. All she could do was cry. She bared the pain shooting through her limbs. Thick darkness surrounded her under the moonless sky and she found herself tumbling down a hill. She felt a snap and hit her head as she rolled to a stop at the bottom of the hill. Everywhere hurt. She tried moving but couldn't bare it. She cried more and groaned as her life flashed before her eyes. Then, everywhere was suddenly quiet. She breathed hard in fear. Just when she started getting a little hope, something sharply dug its fingers into her hand and a loud deafening shriek was heard, followed by an ear piercing scream...

Moonlight glinted off of the sharp tip of the knife. It was clothed in the blackness of her dried blood. The cloaked figure curled his lips as he wiped the knife off using his jacket. Tonight he would be praised. Tonight he would be honored for his kill. She was on the top of the society's list. He didn't know why and frankly he didn't care as long as he got his pay. He sheathed his knife and took the girls' bloodied wrists in his hands. He dragged her into the open casket and locked it shut. As the midnight clouds began to cry tears, he shoveled dirt into the small hole where the casket lay. He threw the shovel and his blood covered gloves in the muddy duffel bag. Walking over the bridge he found various large rocks and shoved them in the bag, making it almost too heavy for him to carry. His dark, dangerous eyes gleamed as he threw the bag into the river and watched it sink into darkness.

You had always heard stories and rumors about the abandoned town of Silent Hill, but never believed them. Creatures and monsters didn't exist and people only told their children those stories to make them behave.
