In my past life, I read a web novel about a world ruled by vampires, where humans were made to be a slaves. The few who survived their tyranny hid deep underground, in a city they built to escape the vampires' reach.

That was where the heroine, Athena Ralles was born. A woman so beautiful that anyone who saw her would fall in love. When news of her beauty reached the palace, the Vampire Emperor himself took interest. He ordered to attack the underground city and captured the Lady for himself.

Upon seeing Athena, the Emperor fell for her instantly and made her his wife. However, no matter what he did, he could never win her heart because Athena was secretly in love with the Emperor's brother. Enraged by her betrayal, the Emperor drained her blood until nothing was left.

That was how the novel ended.

Unsatisfied with the ending, I decided to sleep in disappointment but when I woke up-
